I don't believe it. I do not believe it. But my little big, squishy baby boy is ONE.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">

<div style="text-align: center;">
- Bear crawls</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">

<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
- Cruises along furniture and behind his push car but is not independently walking. He also loves to push the kids' table chairs along the hardwood floor </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">

<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
- Plays catch</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
- Says hi, dada/daddy, mama, Bubba, truck (uck), book (dook), ball, and dog</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
- Blows kisses by putting his palm to his mouth and making a "mmm" sound</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
- Showing a little bit of a temper! Wonder where he gets that from... Ryan</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
- Is desperate to keep up with Cam and Zo</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
- Continues to be the happiest little squishy baby and thankfully just goes with the flow of our busy life</div>

Wyatt Austin, you are the biggest joy and the most perfect caboose to the Peters train. Thank you for being the happiest and most "go with the flow" kid that just rolls with the crazy and chaos of this family. You are so, incredibly loved and adored. I am so excited to see what this year bring for you and to watch you continue to discover the big, awesome world. We love you, Squishy!</div>

Is it normal to still be having daily flashbacks of a child's birth day 11 months after they were born? Because that is me and it doesn't feel normal - but it also doesn't feel like 11 months ago. The countdown to Wyatt's first birthday has officially begun.</div>

OK, seriously. This is not funny! I swear I just did a 9 month post like... yesterday. For sure last week?! And this month made me realize that we are just two short months away from his first birthday - and that just doesn't seem possible.</div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
At 10 months:</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
- If I had to sum Wyatt up with three words right now I would use 1) happy, 2) BUSY, and 3) verybusy</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
- Finally got his first tooth!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
- Had his first ear infection</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
- Is getting louder (which is terrifying)</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
- Added "nanana" to his (short) list of sounds</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
- Sometimes I swear he says "all done" when you ask him if he's all done eating</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
- Loves to eat</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
- Smiles so big his whole face scrunches and sometimes his tongue will stick out too</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
- Warming up to crawling on all fours versus army crawling</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

- Loves to knock all the things off the coffee table</div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
- Can climb all the way to the top of our stairs</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
- Walks along the furniture</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
- Absolutely loves the bath and the pool. We got him a little baby float for the pool and it's mostly useless because he just tries to crawl out of it</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
- Has a deep love for his people - Bubba, Sissy, Mommy, and Daddy</div>

Excuse me, but where on earth did the last half of May and the first half of June go?! I mean, seriously. Time is flying.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
My baby boy is 9 months old! Three quarters of his first year - done!</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Weight: 17 lbs 14 oz</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Length: 27 inches</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Head Circumference: Big</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
(side note: the clinic's computers were down on the morning of his well check so I got his weight and length but no head circumference and no percentiles... and yes, it's bothering me)</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
- This child doesn't stop moving. Like ever. Why this is so surprising to me given the energy levels of his siblings... I don't know.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
- Knows where his special basket of toys is and loves to dump them out at least 17 times a day</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
- Can pull himself up onto his knees</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
- Can pull himself up onto his feet</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
- Still says "dadadadada" and it's starting to hurt my feelings (kidding). Most of the time he laughs at my if I try to get him to say "mama"<br />
<br />
- Has THE best laugh<br />
<br />
- Knows that his bib catches his food and will dig in there once his tray is clear. I find this brilliant and hysterical<br />
<br />
- Likes to randomly smack his lips together </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
- Absolutely loves the water. Like will try to wiggle out of your arms and/or climb out of his pool floaty and try and do it himself. And if you are giving him a bath you might as well wear a rain poncho and googles due to the splashing and kicking</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
- Doesn't seem to notice or get upset when I leave a room but definitely notices when I return from being gone for any length of time. He's so happy to see me that he shrieks and laugh/cries from happiness</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
- Still toothless and it blows my mind<br />
<br />
- Loves the vacuum (like squeals loudly when it's being used and will crawl/chase after it)</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
- If you sing him "Skidamarink" it will stop him in his tracks... or at least get him to hold still long enough to change his diaper or clothing</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
- Still loves all the food<br />
<br />
- Working on learning the signs for "more" and "all done"</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
- Can sort of navigate down the single stair into the formal living room but can climb up that single stair without batting an eye</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
- Is the best baby in all the land<br />

Our spunky, sassy, sweet, and sensitive girl is FOUR years old! I went back and read her <a href="http://www.laurenpetersblog.com/2018/06/zoey-is-three.html">THREE</a> post and while emotional, I found myself nodding because so much of it is still true despite her being a year older.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgeFV5inl3sywfbYyHsc-OOGT4Cm86iq9u6w6QCj1IEjQvc-Rn-fXT-aO-URSyzoql-mmAayUuDJOSEetWMiCNdXgZYT_qyxoBIhn9H40lsLYq9H3lnrU-PJkdqhUSMKSX7KhFlt5cSgTN6/s1600/DSC_1174.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1063" data-original-width="1600" height="265" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgeFV5inl3sywfbYyHsc-OOGT4Cm86iq9u6w6QCj1IEjQvc-Rn-fXT-aO-URSyzoql-mmAayUuDJOSEetWMiCNdXgZYT_qyxoBIhn9H40lsLYq9H3lnrU-PJkdqhUSMKSX7KhFlt5cSgTN6/s400/DSC_1174.jpg" width="400" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Height: 38 inches</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Weight: 33 lbs 2 oz</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
- Loves to sing (loudly) and dance, perform, and tell stories</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
- Very interested in imaginative play with her dolls and Barbies, all of which she calls "dollies"</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
- Took several sessions of ballet at the YMCA and performed in their spring recital. She looked absolutely beautiful, danced wonderfully, and loved being on stage</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEidy1BHildkydEgmJq04Q-apTLmsazrLQGBfdaWYbnMtl5bwGb-70s_DBUEdHQUvp4fr45FZ0iULB2R5ab8Z-AK4wBl4Hg2amsk2OPClRvzIhAdTOu7hlB59bPnptvaVRs89E9RlPCmZqJG/s1600/DSC_1184.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1063" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEidy1BHildkydEgmJq04Q-apTLmsazrLQGBfdaWYbnMtl5bwGb-70s_DBUEdHQUvp4fr45FZ0iULB2R5ab8Z-AK4wBl4Hg2amsk2OPClRvzIhAdTOu7hlB59bPnptvaVRs89E9RlPCmZqJG/s400/DSC_1184.jpg" width="265" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
- Finally (finally!) potty trained after a good 10 months from when we started. Her stubbornness (thank you, Ryan), and a new baby brother derailed us but she finally got it about 6 months ago. The silver lining was that once she "got it," she was able to stay dry day and night</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
- Is about to complete her first year of preschool with Ms. Tiffany</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
- Best friends are Madalyn, Liberty, Emily, Grady, Logan, and Jack</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
- Tells me at least five times a week that she is going to marry Jack. Jack also calls her a "beautiful princess" and she calls him her "prince." Lord, help us</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh9TUgCybrYxUGSD0Fb78XJ6Azz9WjZD3ezR8LvZCwkIkAXC8LtHmNQ1feZPjG1S7ArswwuxMFq6m706UBh1yy0mqvYCTbo9ke0zHeZ5pd5O7gpecksIImsLwdBd9zQajcCMGpEuv340TAB/s1600/DSC_1187.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1063" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh9TUgCybrYxUGSD0Fb78XJ6Azz9WjZD3ezR8LvZCwkIkAXC8LtHmNQ1feZPjG1S7ArswwuxMFq6m706UBh1yy0mqvYCTbo9ke0zHeZ5pd5O7gpecksIImsLwdBd9zQajcCMGpEuv340TAB/s400/DSC_1187.jpg" width="265" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
- Is showing herself to be a perfectionist in a lot of things and gets frustrated if she can't or doesn't do something right (sorry baby girl but you get that from your mama)</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
- Is such a girly girl. Loves to play dress up, change her outfit 17 times a day, accessorize, wear dresses, play with make-up, and have her nails painted</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
- Even though she is a girly girl, she can hang with the boys for sure. She is still fearless and wants to do anything and everything her Big Bubba does</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
- Had her top left, front tooth pulled after the dentist discovered it had been impacted by her fall out of the shopping cart a few years ago. While I'm still adjusting to her smile (and in a way mourning the loss of that sweet little baby tooth), she smiles with pride and is always asking when the other one will come out</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiHbDbggQV0Ki-TTF1nvcJQ2tXNKMBCUhFQvyn-2DLBe3EgcJAXZkRGbfUX8XUGufaw_JJIQpB_vZPCIFz6mqD1xhlch3Hb3-QD6vtF2jQ0zhro8kUPl2iEt1bHkLvyZiQaGyYaxDfPp4Jx/s1600/DSC_1191.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1063" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiHbDbggQV0Ki-TTF1nvcJQ2tXNKMBCUhFQvyn-2DLBe3EgcJAXZkRGbfUX8XUGufaw_JJIQpB_vZPCIFz6mqD1xhlch3Hb3-QD6vtF2jQ0zhro8kUPl2iEt1bHkLvyZiQaGyYaxDfPp4Jx/s400/DSC_1191.jpg" width="265" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
- We say a nightly affirmation to each other. "I am kind. I am smart. I am beautiful. I am important." Then, I ask her who she is and she says (yells), "I am Zoey Grace Peters!"</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
- Attended her first Daddy Daughter Dance with Ryan and it was pretty much her best day ever. She wore a beautiful dress and shoes, I curled her hair, applied a little makeup, and Daddy brought her a corsage</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
- She became a big sister to Baby Bubba and absolutely adores him. She is my biggest helper and I hope she'll be a great little mama someday</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
My Zoey Grace. I am so lucky to be your Mommy. Everyday I feel grateful to have a daughter like you that teaches me grace, patience, and understanding. You bring so much joy to our family and anyone you meet. I find myself expecting a lot from you, and often - more than I should. But it's only because you are an amazing little girl who is destined for big things. I hope you are always true to yourself and remember that your are smart, beautiful, kind, important, and so very loved. I love you to the moon and the stars, my little peach.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

- I'm not even exaggerating when I say that he's the happiest, most go with the flow baby in the world</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
- No official weight but I'm guessing he's around 16 1/2 pounds or so. I'll know next month at his nine month well check</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
- He is so busy, so wiggly, so curious, and so social</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
- Super strong</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
- Snuggles his lovey, Mo, like nobody’s business. Seeing him do this when it’s time for bed is heart melting</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
- Starting to raise his hands up in the air to be picked up and reaches for people</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
- Responding to his name</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
- Loves, loves, loves food. He's yet to try and food he doesn't like</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
- His hair is getting really long and lighter in color</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
- Eye color remains a mystery. It's like they are a weird (and beautiful) combination of brown, green, dark blue and grey? Is that considered hazel? I don't know</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
- Started babbling "dadada" on Mother's Day</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
- Still army crawls all over the place. His favorite floor time activity is to chase a ball across the floor</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
- Speaking of floor time activities, he also goes straight for the dog food and water bowls</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
- Loves to be sung to</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
- Adores (adores!!!) his big bubba and sissy</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
- I see A LOT of Zoey in his features</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
- Still toothless, which is mind blowing to me. I think I started saying two months ago that those bottom teeth would pop through "any second now." Shows what I know</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
- Switching to the "added rice" infant formula has been a huge game changer with this spitting up</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
- Took his first trip across the pass to Central Washington and was a little rockstar </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
- Went swimming for the first time and absolutely loved it</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
- Is seriously the best baby in the world. Ryan and I comment on how lucky we are to have him at least once a day</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

Thanks to lots of illness for Little Wy and me - this past month has been slow and fast all at the same time. But he's seven months old and ready to take on the world!</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi11AIdxszkLc_3Vlcvh9fiZjNG_lDHbj4wK95pMySgTqae2G2fBYlC3Hjq5uL4sgeg3bzYO_dGd__wlxi37ZtlPlgWLS4c3UtEoo67CU-oFBFsN20iBjusUM0JDERBQG0nrky6c4OUa2F7/s1600/DSC_1006-2.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1063" data-original-width="1600" height="265" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi11AIdxszkLc_3Vlcvh9fiZjNG_lDHbj4wK95pMySgTqae2G2fBYlC3Hjq5uL4sgeg3bzYO_dGd__wlxi37ZtlPlgWLS4c3UtEoo67CU-oFBFsN20iBjusUM0JDERBQG0nrky6c4OUa2F7/s400/DSC_1006-2.jpg" width="400" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
- No official weight but thanks to lots of frequent doctors visits I know he's around 15 and a half pounds</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
- Is still quite the little piggy. Has yet to find a food he doesn't like. We've switched to "added rice" formula to try and help reduce his spit up. So far it's helping!</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
- He's army crawling all over the place and often gets up on all fours and rocks back and forth. I feel like "real crawling" isn't far away at all</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
- He loves pulling every single toy out of his little toy bin</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
- He is trying really hard to pull himself up into my lap</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
- Is sitting up unassisted and loves being able to look around</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
- Waving? Maybe? Sometimes it seems like he is and other times it seems like he's found his hands and is just moving his arm so it looks like he's waving</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
- Loves the bath so much that I swear he starts flailing his body anytime he hears running water</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
- Loves his bouncy seat/exersaucer thing</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
- If finding his voice and experimenting with volume control</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
- Is so, so wiggly</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
- Still no teeth but man, I swear the bottom two are going to break through any minute </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
- Is seriously still just so happy and so chill. At a recent doctor's appointment - he fell asleep while we were waiting and then slept through the whole exam. I warn friends that meet him that he will 100% make them want another baby because he is just perfect.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">

Can someone please tell me where the second half of February and the first half of March went?!! Life is moving faster and faster and I don't know why I keep expecting it to slow down - but I do. The saying is true - the days may feel slow but the months and years are fast.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Wyatt is six months old. HALF A YEAR!</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiocTraxg98k9IlIuL5QfZ99SKYWN7RErDESbT0I7FYI_uGyheNtOAcjA_F8koKd83OTfemfJnGoM-BLJvjKWrCWUGLW5U5NV_-A-AeszsiDXXXiQ_ssiH-tWdEocdz2AyJpGP7OybydQBZ/s1600/DSC_0799-2.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1063" data-original-width="1600" height="265" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiocTraxg98k9IlIuL5QfZ99SKYWN7RErDESbT0I7FYI_uGyheNtOAcjA_F8koKd83OTfemfJnGoM-BLJvjKWrCWUGLW5U5NV_-A-AeszsiDXXXiQ_ssiH-tWdEocdz2AyJpGP7OybydQBZ/s400/DSC_0799-2.jpg" width="400" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
- He weighs 14 lbs 5 oz (6th percentile), is 26.5 inches long (51st percentile), and his head circumference is 16.9 inches (46th percentile)</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
- This kid is a pig. He squeals when he sees his bottle being made and brought to him and opens his mouth really, really wide for every spoonful of baby food that is offered to him.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
- Speaking of food, we are giving him baby food but also adding in some baby lead weaning too. He's tried cantaloupe, honey dew melon, chicken, BBQ pork, strawberries, and avocado</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
- Is just THE happiest and chillest little buddy in the world.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
- Laughs A LOT. Especially if I ask him if he's stinky or say "za poop!"</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
- Gets really happy when it's time for naps or bedtime - probably because he gets to see his lovey, Mo</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
- Is still spiting up like crazy. We practically have to have burp cloths within arms reach at all times</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
- Still really loves baths and being naked. He's taken his flailing to a whole new level and has actually flopped himself right out of his bath seat</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
- Can put his binky back in his mouth when/if it falls out</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
- Loves playing in the baby activity bouncer</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
- Working on sitting up unassisted</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
- He's starting to spin in little circles when on his tummy and is trying so hard to crawl</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
- Getting very, very wiggly</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
- Grabs onto all the things - hair, clothing, curtains, blankets, and faces</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
- Still no teeth but I feel like I won't be saying that for much longer</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>

Man, that month went by fast. That says a lot considering last week we were quite literally snowed in for many days.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Wyatt is five months old! </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh_g4cbIqSu0eJvEwkZdVjRmLNVQrlCtS67M1-INUWdtH-SdjGxNUMlU3qw45SR6hQD9R2vydA9rIjOt2begsWVK7mJuT3LZwH-crgVqTR0sQP1Vg1PJewwu0zIsJpHHuk8zGE4YIlU8AaX/s1600/DSC_0532.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1063" data-original-width="1600" height="265" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh_g4cbIqSu0eJvEwkZdVjRmLNVQrlCtS67M1-INUWdtH-SdjGxNUMlU3qw45SR6hQD9R2vydA9rIjOt2begsWVK7mJuT3LZwH-crgVqTR0sQP1Vg1PJewwu0zIsJpHHuk8zGE4YIlU8AaX/s400/DSC_0532.jpg" width="400" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
- No official stats to share as he doesn't go back for a well check until six months. We've managed to keep this kid (overall) healthy so far so he isn't nearly as familiar with his pediatrician as the other two were at this age. My guess is he's somewhere between 13 and 14 pounds</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
- Not only did we start supplementing formula, but I stopped nursing and started exclusively pumping. The combination has really done him good. My milk is naturally really lean but I also don't think he was transferring milk very well when nursing</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
- Started to show some interest in food so we just started introducing baby food. So far, he's tried sweet potatoes, butternut squash, apples, and prunes. This kid can hardly see over the highchair tray but he loves it</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
- He has the best laugh and I can get him going pretty good just by talking to him</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
- Is still so, so, so ticklish</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
- Loves to be sung to</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
- Drools like crazy, loves to blow raspberries, and spits up a lot so we go through three or four outfit changes a day</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
- Loves Mommy (a lot), Daddy, Camden, and Zoey. He lights up for us all - especially his siblings</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
- Saw his first snow... all 18 inches of it</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
- A rolling over champ - back to belly and belly to back</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
- Reaching for and grabbing all the things - including hair and our dog, Raph</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
- Absolutely loves baths (and being naked). He kicks and flails with excitement</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
- Is just the happiest, most content baby ever</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>

Four months old and it's going by lightning fast... blah, blah, blah. I know. Why is it that each kid seems to grow up faster than the one before?</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Wy Guy is four months old!<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi57NjQHON0qEg_jmVnAVX89-EoXC2u3eWZTy3uZmRlP7dXTJCRVnU3Xo1YhY2qxPcCHD8lIgMNqF6e6pu04yYBTtbYj2IQ0YkX9DNe5mnUxIwkCfnLAyw_LA6y0MRcZb8HEHG84iRtLTHX/s1600/DSC_0430.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1063" data-original-width="1600" height="265" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi57NjQHON0qEg_jmVnAVX89-EoXC2u3eWZTy3uZmRlP7dXTJCRVnU3Xo1YhY2qxPcCHD8lIgMNqF6e6pu04yYBTtbYj2IQ0YkX9DNe5mnUxIwkCfnLAyw_LA6y0MRcZb8HEHG84iRtLTHX/s400/DSC_0430.jpg" width="400" /></a></div>
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
At four months:</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
- He weighs 12 lbs 15 oz (8th percentile), is 24 1/4 inches long (18th percentile), and his head circumference is 16 1/4 inches (44th percentile) </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
- We started supplementing formula and it has made a huge difference for his growth and his little bod. I mean - look at those cheeks! The first thing his pediatrician said at his four month well check was "where is his neck?!"</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
- Is so engaging. This kid just smiles and laughs and babbles non-stop<br />
<br />
- Nicknames include Wy Wy, Baby Bubba, Bubs, Pudge and Pudgie Wudgie<br />
<br />
- Thought he was starting to favor me looks wise? But now I just see Ryan (and Zoey)</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
- Drools more than the previous two kids combined, I swear<br />
<br />
- Has started blowing raspberries which just adds to the mess he normally makes with his drool </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
- Is the most ticklish baby I have ever seen or met</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
- Loves Mommy, Daddy, Big Bubba Cam and Big Sissy Zo Zo</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
- Is really starting to favor Zoey looks-wise</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
- Celebrated his first Christmas</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
- Getting super close to rolling over from back to belly but get stuck on his side because his head is so big. And it's not really "that" big but compared to the rest of his body proportions -- it is.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
- Is a really good sleeper (knocking on all the wood) and will sleep anywhere from 10-12 hours overnight. Naps have much improved too and they are anywhere from 1-3 hours</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="caret-color: rgb(102, 102, 102); text-align: center;">
<span style="font-family: inherit;">- Eyes are still a dark gray/blue. Ryan thinks they'll go blue but I think they'll go brown</span></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<span style="font-family: inherit;"><span style="caret-color: rgb(102, 102, 102);">- Started daycare at Ms. Debbie's and has done so well with the transition. He gets so </span></span><span style="caret-color: rgb(102, 102, 102);">much</span><span style="font-family: inherit;"><span style="caret-color: rgb(102, 102, 102);"> love and attention there from the teachers and the kids - it is no wonder he doesn't miss me</span></span></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<span style="font-family: inherit;"><span style="caret-color: rgb(102, 102, 102);"><br /></span></span></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<span style="font-family: inherit;"><span style="caret-color: rgb(102, 102, 102);">- Could be a serious competitor if there was a competition for the most wonderful baby in the universe. I'm biased (I KNOW!) but he is just the best, best, best</span></span><br />

Why is time so mean? Because I swear that I just wrote about Wyatt at two months and now he's three months. And you know what? I have a feeling I'll be saying that every month and for the rest of my life.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiRVq9_1AvD9DR86NmRyc_TqQ0K1QGkXqbjJcdd0ntm-FFNL2FY-1aY9p1OBMHUFv8TLdK3kSGxf1rB7-060EPSXkA3lCOeTZx1oWACs6PA9Ez-Sm6RUcdTNhcbD-BoP-ybP15m84X_O7Xl/s1600/DSC_0382.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1112" data-original-width="1600" height="277" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiRVq9_1AvD9DR86NmRyc_TqQ0K1QGkXqbjJcdd0ntm-FFNL2FY-1aY9p1OBMHUFv8TLdK3kSGxf1rB7-060EPSXkA3lCOeTZx1oWACs6PA9Ez-Sm6RUcdTNhcbD-BoP-ybP15m84X_O7Xl/s400/DSC_0382.jpg" width="400" /></a></div>
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Anyway, my baby boy is three months old! At three months, Wyatt:</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
- Weighs 10 pounds 2 ounces. And I know this thanks to an impromptu weight check with his pediatrician yesterday. He is not thriving as he should growth-wise and so we will be supplementing formula in hopes that it helps him grow more.<br />
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
- Really loves Mommy. Like, nobody compares to Mommy and I am more than OK with it<br />
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
- Smiles all the time and is quite the little chatter box when you engage with him<br />
<br />
- Is starting to laugh and it's just the best sound in the world<br />
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
- Is very responsive to Mommy, Camden and Zoey<br />
<br />
- Has lots of facial expressions just like Zoey<br />
<br />
- Just might be favoring me in who he looks like??<br />
<br />
- Loves the Tula baby carrier and all its sleepy baby magic<br />
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
- Is trying to roll over from back to belly<br />
<br />
- Has started drooling and I don't recall either Cam or Zoey doing this at this age<br />
<br />
- Likes to put his hands in his mouth. This coupled with the drooling makes me wonder if he’ll get teeth early/earlier?<br />
<br />
- His “it’s bedtime” tired cry sounds a little like Chewbacca<br />
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
- Sleeps a good 8.5 hour stretch at night, eats, and then goes back to sleep for a varying amount of time. I'll take it. Naps are getting much better too.<br />
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
- Hair is growing back in the front but is now disappearing in the back from him sleeping on his back and moving his head side-to-side in his sleep. So he’s got this little tuft on top, then a sweet strip of bald, and then a nice little mullet way down in the back.<br />
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
- Eyes are still a dark gray/blue but I am pretty confident that at some point they will turn brown like Daddy and Zoey's<br />
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
- Will start daycare at Ms. Debbie's on January 2</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
He is seriously a chill and very happy baby - he fits in with this family so well and is so, so loved.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">

I looked back on Cam's <a href="http://www.laurenpetersblog.com/2017/12/camden-is-five.html">fifth birthday</a> post just now and it feels like it was both a lifetime ago and just yesterday. This year has been full of changes for him and he has truly rocked it. I just cannot cannot cannot believe he is six and officially needs two hands to show his age with his fingers. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Of course, I am queen of bias when it comes to him and his siblings but this kid is truly special.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgSdDinVd-FLeDPQqlgcgaXMutI6kowOzh7Qwy9DVUls68R9tKYtXMcI_OmC-tz-iYPNaF64oxcrr9fNxyVDFBurNnu3fF7zBTqHcSvlOw4UB-srEX7sLjpvLax4wzbebOnzA6fhVRIVnSJ/s1600/IMG_0483-1.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1067" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgSdDinVd-FLeDPQqlgcgaXMutI6kowOzh7Qwy9DVUls68R9tKYtXMcI_OmC-tz-iYPNaF64oxcrr9fNxyVDFBurNnu3fF7zBTqHcSvlOw4UB-srEX7sLjpvLax4wzbebOnzA6fhVRIVnSJ/s400/IMG_0483-1.jpg" width="266" /></a></div>
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Weight: 39 1/2 lbs (13th percentile)</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Height: 42.5 inches (7th percentile)</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
- Is incredibly loving and affectionate</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
- Has two (maybe three?) loose teeth and says he wants them to be shot out with a Nerf gun. One of them is hanging by a thread, I swear</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
- Played YMCA basketball with the Rockets, YMCA soccer with the Lightning Cheetahs, and YMCA t-ball with the Sluggers</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
- Played Tracyton soccer with the Lightning Bolts (formerly Dragons)<br />
<br />
- Has started playing indoor soccer with the Thunder Cats </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
- Takes gymnastics (Comets 2) twice a week with Coach Sam and it is amazing how much his strength and coordination has improved. He is so fun to watch!</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
- Is catching onto reading really quickly</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
- Loves to draw, practice writing his first and last name, and various words and phrases (after asking how to spell them of course)</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
- Started Kindergarten and absolutely loves it and his teacher, Ms. Ryan. During his parent/teacher conference she said that he is the most articulate and socialized kid in his class, one of only a handful that can count to 100 and will be truly reading by the end of the school year, and has wonderful penmanship. The two things he needs to work on are not blurting out answers/questions before being called on... and not hugging everyone all of the time. Did I mention he was a very loving and affectionate kid?</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
- He came home on the first day of school saying that there was a very pretty girl in his class and that he would like to marry her... but he couldn't tell me what her name was. Turns out her name is Mazie and she is adorable.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
- His best friends in his class are Kaleo, Kamden (KJ), Charlie, Kainoa, Shane and Mazie.<br />
<br />
- Seriously seems like he's made friends with at least half of the school so far. I volunteer in his class on Tuesday afternoons and when we walk out together at the end of the school day he hugs at least 10 kids goodbye.<br />
<br />
- His principal calls him "Boss."</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
- Has developed a very cute friendship with our neighbor, Ian. It's like they are brothers. Ian is very protective of Cam and walks him to his classroom everyday when they get to school (even though Cam is more than capable of doing it himself) and Cam looks up to Ian like he is the bees knees.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
- Became a big brother again and adores his baby brother more than I had imagined he would. He is constantly asking to hold him and I frequently have to ask him to "stop kissing the baby." He tells me at least three times a day that "baby brother is soooooo cute!"</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
- Apparently not as terrified of natural disasters as he once was? They had the "big shake" drill at school a few weeks ago and he came home saying it was his favorite thing about school</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
- A fireman came into their class to talk about fire safety and it left a big impression on him because no he will now randomly say "if there is a fire in your house, Mommy - don't worry about your toys. Just worry about yourself."</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
- Wears 5T tops, 5T bottoms (finally), and a size 10 shoe</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
- Favorite things to eat are peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, chocolate brownie Z-bars, and Classic Lays chips</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
- Favorite TV shows are Blaze and the Monster Machines, Teen Titans Go, and Loud House. I'm also forcing the kids to watch Crikey! It's the Irwins and he really likes that too<br />
<br />
- Still loves to watch "red commercial" on the iPad (YouTube Kids) and I'll never understand how it can be so fascinating to watch other kids playing with toys or playing video games</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
- Is still so snuggly and I LOVE IT</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>

October to November may have been the fastest month of my life. I swear I was just plucking out Wyatt's 1 Month post... and yet, here we are.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
My baby boy is two months old!</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg8mEuD65OQjVs1lg3fhaK6u2SUYP5-zt3d50AXMUSbzjNaHB_lFRLf3nQsCKqkA9kSJELtreg1vLXi0iQUIgh8Ojo9CT8TBEyI5MdSS9EqyGK1Ab62C7g3QAeR8U5exGuO13xLinCIi_dL/s1600/DSC_0244.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1063" data-original-width="1600" height="265" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg8mEuD65OQjVs1lg3fhaK6u2SUYP5-zt3d50AXMUSbzjNaHB_lFRLf3nQsCKqkA9kSJELtreg1vLXi0iQUIgh8Ojo9CT8TBEyI5MdSS9EqyGK1Ab62C7g3QAeR8U5exGuO13xLinCIi_dL/s400/DSC_0244.jpg" width="400" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
He weighed in at 9 pounds 5 ounces at our lactation consultation on Friday. Internally, I was proud of his weight and growth but the consultant said "he's still a little behind." I wanted to reply with "story of my motherhood life," but instead I laughed and said that all my kids grow on their own little curve and as long as they're growing (even if at a snail's pace compared to everyone else...) that's all that matters.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Weight: 9 lbs 9 oz (6th percentile)</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Height: 22 1/2 inches (41st percentiles)</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Head Circumference: 15 inches (30th percentile)</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
At two months, Wyatt:</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<span style="font-family: inherit;"><span style="caret-color: rgb(102, 102, 102);">- Loves Mommy, baths</span></span><span style="font-family: inherit;"><span style="caret-color: rgb(102, 102, 102);">, showers with Mommy, snuggling, Mommy, nursing, Mommy, and being carried in the Tula</span></span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<span style="font-family: inherit;"><span style="caret-color: rgb(102, 102, 102);">- Has started smiling and cooing in response to us</span></span></div>
<div class="separator" style="caret-color: rgb(102, 102, 102); clear: both; text-align: center;">
<span style="font-family: inherit;">- Rolls over from belly to back and looks like he's trying to roll over back to belly</span></div>
<div class="separator" style="caret-color: rgb(102, 102, 102); clear: both; text-align: center;">
<span style="font-family: inherit;">- Sleeps anywhere from three to seven hour stretches overnight... he really likes to keep me guessing and consuming lots of coffee</span></div>
<div class="separator" style="caret-color: rgb(102, 102, 102); clear: both; text-align: center;">
<span style="font-family: inherit;">- We’re working on napping for longer than 20 minutes at a time </span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<span style="font-family: inherit;"><span style="caret-color: rgb(102, 102, 102);">- Had his tongue tie </span></span><span style="caret-color: rgb(102, 102, 102);">procedure and was an absolute champ. Mommy on the other hand cried (and cried and </span><span style="caret-color: rgb(102, 102, 102);">cried and cried) like a little baby</span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<span style="caret-color: rgb(102, 102, 102);">- His baby acne seems to have almost gone away</span></div>
<div class="separator" style="caret-color: rgb(102, 102, 102); clear: both; text-align: center;">
<span style="font-family: inherit;">- His hair is starting to grow back in where it fell out in the front</span></div>
<div class="separator" style="caret-color: rgb(102, 102, 102); clear: both; text-align: center;">
<span style="font-family: inherit;"><br /></span></div>
<div class="separator" style="caret-color: rgb(102, 102, 102); clear: both; text-align: center;">
We were having a moment of good eye contact and smiles this afternoon and I felt like my heart was literally swelling. And of course, I got all emotional and choked up for a minute because I just love this little guy so much and know that time is just going to keep flying by and breaking my heart.</div>
<div class="separator" style="caret-color: rgb(102, 102, 102); clear: both; text-align: center;">

Why is it that time just goes faster and faster with each kid? Because time is a bitch.</div>

<div style="text-align: center;">
Wyatt is one month old and I can hardly believe it.</div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

The big kids are beyond excited that their baby brother is finally here. With his arrival has come lots of questions and funny conversations.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
- After seeing me at home for the first time after Wyatt's birth:</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Cam: (patting my tummy) Mommy why is your belly still so fat?</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Me: (giving Cam the death stare)</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Cam: ... I mean big?</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
- After seeing me in my post-birth mesh undies:</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Zoey: Why are you wearing a diaper?</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I thought it was funny that they didn't really notice or care too much when I nursed Wyatt the first few times. But then...</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
- Zoey: Are you feeding him with your booties?</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
- Cam: What is he eating?</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Me: Milk</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Cam: How do you make the milk?</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Me: My body knows that I'm not pregnant anymore and so it started making milk - it's my superpower!</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Cam: (head exploding at the thought of his Mommy having a legit superpower) Wow. Wouldn't it be cool if your nipples shot out poisonous water and killed bad guys?!</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Me: Actually yes, buddy. That would be awesome.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
- Getting ready to go to soccer practice and Cam was <b>very</b> concerned with how I would feed the baby while at the field.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Cam: But how are you going to feed him?</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Me: The same way I do at home.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Cam: But Mom, nobody wants to see your boobs.<br />

You can't tell but I am chuckling to myself as I type. Here I thought Zoey's <a href="http://www.laurenpetersblog.com/2015/06/zoeys-birth-story.html">birth story</a> was wild, but her little brother had to one up her. Just goes to show I know absolutely nothing.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I had said before that this pregnancy had been physically harder than the first two, and that became more and more true as the weeks went on. Especially the last two weeks. My blood pressure was much higher than normal, my hands and feet were swelling, I had a constant headache, and some spotty and blurry vision. Blessed be my OB, she decided at 39 weeks that it was time to induce and get the baby out. Being that I was <b>done</b> - I didn't argue and in fact, asked to hug her.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
She had said that her method for induction (cytotec) was different than pitocin and that it would be "much slower and more gradual." So, I was excited thinking that things wouldn't be as insane and fast as they were with Zoey - who was induced using pitocin.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
We checked into the hospital at 7:30pm and I was 3cm dilated. After getting settled and answering the myriad of questions about my health, past pregnancies, and current pregnancy - I had my first dose of cytotec at 9pm and second dose at midnight. I didn't really notice any significant change at this point - just irregular contractions.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I took a third dose at 3am and I don't know if things had been building up or if that dose was just the magical kickstarter - but holy hell. Shit got real, real quick. I immediately started having legit contractions, and while I wasn't timing them - there wasn't much time in between. I got out of bed to try and walk/sway through the contractions but the nurse immediately came in and said "the baby doesn't like that..." (meaning his heart rate was dropping with each contraction) and said I had to either sit down or lie down. Awesome.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
So I sat in the rocking chair for awhile and around 5am - asked if it was too early for an epidural. I described my contractions to the nurse as "long and strong" and couldn't help but sing a little Sir Mix A Lot "Baby Got Back" to myself to try and distract myself from the pain. The nurse sort of laughed, probably thinking I was a big wuss, and said she would ask. She came right back in the room and said that it was fine and that she had paged the anesthesiologist.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
An hour of laboring later and the anesthesiologist finally showed up around 6am. So, she got to work on me while I was having contractions every two minutes, some back-to-back-to-back. At some point I told Ryan to call my mom and Rachel and tell them to get to the hospital "right now." Ryan had offered to let me squeeze his hands during the contractions (and to try and help me focus on staying still while she was trying to get the catheter in) and after the first squeeze he said "ow!" and I told him to "shut up."</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
After six (or maybe seven?) failed attempts of getting the catheter in my back, the anesthesiologist telling me repeatedly that I have a "beautiful back," and some puking, the nurse told the anesthesiologist to stop. The baby was having significant dips in his heartrate and she thought that I might be "getting close." So, the devil woman stopped poking me and I laid down to be checked. Seriously, all that poking and stabbing for nothing.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Lo and behold - I was at 10cm with a bulging bag and he was ready to come out. This was great and all but the only people in the room were me, Ryan, the nurse, and the anesthesiologist. The room and the few people in it weren't prepared for delivery at all. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Our poor nurse. She told the anesthesiologist to "go get help" and she called my OB to let her know what was happening. In order to keep the baby in, they told me to flip over and get on all-fours with my head below my butt. This was by far the worst part of this labor. I cannot even describe how uncomfortable it was and how intense the contractions were in this position and at the angle I was at. I kept looking over at Ryan to make sure he was still standing. I think we were both worried that like Zoey's birth, the intensity would be too much for him and he would pass out again. But, hallelujah, he was staying upright!</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I have no idea how much time passed but before long, the room was full of nurses and I was swearing up a storm. Mostly "fuck's" and "holy shit's." Maybe even a few "mother fucker's." I don't really know for sure. Thankfully most of my swearing was muffled by the oxygen mask.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
The nurse told me to flip over and I wasted no time. I grabbed my legs and as soon as the next contraction hit - I started pushing. Like Zoey's birth - pushing felt so good. In the weirdest way it was a relief. So, I pushed once and heard "there's his head!" I pushed two more times and he came on out. Ryan said he was in a weird, semi-curled up position, but regardless - he came out.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Thank you, sweet infant baby Jesus. Seriously, instant relief.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
He was so quiet and only cried a tiny, tiny bit - I kept asking if he was OK! The doctor and nurses assured me he was fine and I just stared at this sweet baby that was literally just in my body. Mom and Rachel missed his birth by literally a minute and heard his first cry through the room's door. I felt terrible that they missed it.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Four hours from the start of legit labor and contractions to the birth of this beautiful little squishy boy. Another birth experience, like his big brother and big sister, that I will never forget.</div>

It's almost birth time and I am counting down, willing the time to come, more so than my first two pregnancies combined. I can't be sure, but I don't recall complaining too much the first two times around and I feel like I have MORE than made it up for that this time around. Looking back, I probably should have been more appreciative because right now...</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
- I sleep with no less than four pillows. One under my head, one between my knees, one between my arms, and one behind my back.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
- I turn over and change positions no less than 47 times per night.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
- Ryan interrupted an unusual good stretch of sleep the other night by snoring and I have never been closer to smothering him with a pillow.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
- Zantac is my lifeblood.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
- Everything hurts.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
- My feet are swollen and angry.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
- I hear anywhere from 5-7 comments a day on my body - both positive (nice? thoughtful?) and not positive (are they trying to be nice and falling short? do they realize nothing they are saying is helpful?). Ryan says I'm being too sensitive and I want to punch him in the throat.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
- I'm suddenly much more prone to violent tendencies (see above)</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
- Cam is asking a lot of questions - like are the doctors going to "put me back together" with duct tape and glue? I basically just answer "yes" to all of his little five-year old theories because I am too chicken shit to have a real, honest conversation about this whole process.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
- Someone asked me the other day how I was feeling and I somehow managed to say with a totally straight face, "like a small human could fall out of my uterus at any moment... how are you?"</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I truly am so grateful to be pregnant. But I am beyond ready for this child to vacate the premises of my body.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">

Is it just me, or does this birthday seem like such a huge, huge milestone? Maybe it's because my boy has been literally talking about turning five since the day he turned four. He has grown up so much this past year, figuratively and physically - it has been the most bittersweet thing to watch. I know I am incredibly biased, but he is one cool kid.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEihk9F5DWOOxOmKY4IKK3fGMFpjjMe0eDzBY-r-RS6rOXlYVkgHBoI2ma62Znfmr5aBjXyzNpCtnKQXAbpt2gCQAxve0St91preoypu2wb27p70OLts-guRwx9GUFfiwXGuMjFVk4I4Rub6/s1600/DSC_1438.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1072" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEihk9F5DWOOxOmKY4IKK3fGMFpjjMe0eDzBY-r-RS6rOXlYVkgHBoI2ma62Znfmr5aBjXyzNpCtnKQXAbpt2gCQAxve0St91preoypu2wb27p70OLts-guRwx9GUFfiwXGuMjFVk4I4Rub6/s400/DSC_1438.jpg" width="267" /></a></div>

<div style="text-align: center;">
Weight: 34 pounds 6 ounces (9th percentile)</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Height: 40 1/2 inches (11th percentile)<br />
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
- Has become quite the sensitive little soul. He gets scared and his feelings hurt easily yet is also very tough physically. It's a weird combo<br />
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
- Terrified of earthquakes and volcanic eruptions. I'm thankful I can tell him that we don't have hurricanes or tornadoes in our part of the country because he's constantly confirming those facts with me just to be sure<br />
<br />
- I assure him there are no hurricanes and then he says, "But there is a hurricane in the Little Mermaid!" and so I assure him that the Little Mermaid is just a story and then the conversation goes off into this tangent about whether or not the Little Mermaid takes place in "our world" (aka the planet Earth)</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">

<div style="text-align: center;">
- He's super particular about his socks being on super straight and not having "bumps." His shoes also need to be really snug on his feet. That said, he loves wearing his rain boots which are as lose as could be so this boggles my mind a bit<br />
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
- Loves hot wheel cars and his Cars diecast cars, especially ones with spoilers<br />
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">

<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
- Wears 4T/5T tops and 4T bottoms<br />
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
- Speaking of bottoms, he really hates that his 4T bottoms are too big in the waist and too long in length and DOES NOT want his pant legs to touch his feet or shoes<br />

- Is quite the spiritual little fellow, which is interesting to me because it's not something we discuss much at home. He says his prayers every night without prompt or question and is quick to say that Jesus will keep him brave and safe if he's scared of the aforementioned natural disasters<br />
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
- Went to Santa Cruz, California for the first time and I'm pretty sure he would have stayed there forever if we had let him. While there I forced him to ride a log ride and I may have scarred him for life<br />

- Tries to come up with any excuse in the world to not have to sleep in his bed and sleep in our bed. He really hits me in the feelers when he says "but Mommy, I just want to snuggle with you" or "but Mommy, I just love you." Other excuses are that he is afraid of bears or that moss is going to take over the city<br />

<div style="text-align: center;">
Camden James. There really are no words to adequately describe how much I love you and how proud I am to be your Mommy. Of course, I'm biased, but you are one super cool little guy. You are smart, funny, outgoing, and very silly. People that don't even know you are always commenting on your energy and your happy demeanor. You asked me this morning if I could believe you are 5, and I honestly can't. Being your mom is such a joy and privilege. It truly is an honor. I love you, my Super Cam.<br />

Sweet Jesus, she's two and a half. I seriously swear that she just turned two and cannot, cannot, cannot believe she's on her way to being three. It's also crazy to me because this is how old Cam was when she was born, so I'm feeling lots of feelings right now.<br />

Seriously, I swear he just turned <a href="http://www.laurenpetersblog.com/2016/12/cam-is-four.html">4</a> and now six months have passed. He's officially closer to 5 than 4! Just ask him because he will proudly tell you that his birthday is "really soon." Why does 5 seem so much older than 4? I feel like I'm constantly telling him to stop growing and that I want him to stay my little buddy forever. He laughs at me (literally) and just keeps on growing and becoming more awesome.</div>

Zoey Grace is two and I can hardly believe it. Time is flying by and I am way more emotional about her turning two than I was about Cam. Probably because when he turned two I was newly-pregnant and so I knew we'd get to do this again. Now, I'm almost fairly certain that this is our last go-round and so I'm a blubbering mess of feelings.</div>

<div style="text-align: center;">
<span style="font-family: inherit;">Zoey Grace. Words cannot describe how happy it makes me and how grateful I am to be your mommy. I have loved seeing you grow into the sassy and sweet little bug that you've become. You truly are a joy to be around (at least most of the time) and your daddy, bubba, and I simply adore you. My greatest hope is that you grow up to be a strong woman, who believes that her worth is not determined by what is on the outside - but on the inside. Watching you grow is incredibly bittersweet and I can't wait to see what you have to offer this world. You are a force to be reckoned with. Always remember that you are smart, kind, important, and beautiful. I love you to the moon and stars, my little bear.</span></div>
